Justin Cantwell has certifications through ACE, ISSA, YMCA and SemperFit (Marine Corps) and his undergraduate degree in exercise science. Fitness and nutrition is Justin's passion! He uses his compassion to help all the women here at StrongHer Fitness reach their goals. He believes fitness should be fun and enjoyable as well as beneficial, keeping things simple yet new and exciting as well.   "Women's fitness is so much more than just working out, its about improving your whole self and enjoying your new life.  The most effective way to get there is through weight training, cardio, proper nutrition and having that extra accountability while staying motivated to improve yourself."   Prior to working at StrongHer Fitness for Women in Lee’s Summit, he was the Health and Wellness Director + personal trainer at the YMCA. Previous to that, he was a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym. He is also a Marine Corps Veteran. Justin is married with three children (one boy and two girls).

Certified in - Personal Training & CPR/AED/First Aid

Levi Jansen became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in the Summer of 2017, and has loved personal training ever since. In 2019, he completed NASM's Corrective Exercise Specialty course, which led him into physical therapy. He is currently a Student Physical Therapist Assistant (SPTA) at Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, MO. Levi enjoys studying human anatomy and physiology and biomechanical medicine. In his free time he loves to lift weights and run sprints, work on woodworking or automotive projects, or generally be outside. His best advice for fitness is to "have a little bit of flame for a long, long time, rather than burn out right away". He looks forward to working with you!

Ariel Phillips
Certified in - Personal Training & CPR/AED/First Aid

Ariel Phillips is a NASM certified Personal Trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist, with experience as a nutrition and wellness coach. Ariel strives to help women reach a state of health that feels good mentally, physically, and emotionally. "I learned that true health is not defined by how many calories you eat, a number on the scale or by how much weight you can deadlift. It is something you cannot really describe and see physically, but instead it's all about how you feel and move throughout your daily life." Her expertise is in plant-based nutrition, proper kinetic chain movement, core training and stress management. Outside of training, Ariel loves to do Yoga, Pilates and travel. She is excited to start working with you and join you alongside your journey!
